The machine is classified in accordance with the ISO 20957 standard, class S + I, intended for equipment used in professional sports facilities and venues where access and supervision are regulated by the operator. This is the right standard for places where equipment has to withstand regular, intensive use. The same durability matters just as much in private settings: equipment built for continuous professional-grade operation provides a huge reserve of durability, which means that under significantly lighter home use it can go on serving for many more years. The Chest Press uses a functional standing position, so the movement resembles a push-up performed upright. This not only engages the muscles directly responsible for the pressing motion, it also requires active stabilisation of the whole body. The moving back support acts as a reference point that helps maintain a neutral spine position and limits excessive arching of the back during the press. The mechanism has been designed so that resistance stays smooth and predictable throughout the entire range of motion, with the pivot point matched to the joints' natural movement. This allows the Chest Press to deliver a controlled pressing workout in an intuitive, standing position, suitable for both people just starting out and more experienced users.

Training capabilities

The Chest Press exercise focuses the work primarily on the chest, shoulder and triceps muscles. At the same time, the standing position means the core muscles responsible for stabilisation stay actively engaged throughout the movement.

The guided construction provides a controlled, smooth movement path, allowing effort to be focused on the muscles responsible for the pressing motion. The moving back support helps maintain correct positioning, and the machine's intuitive mechanics make training simple and safe for users at every level of experience.

The weight stack offers a maximum training load of 75 kg at a 1:1 ratio. The selected weight is felt directly during the exercise, and 5 kg increments allow training intensity to be increased gradually.

Optional training monitor

NOHRD StudioLine Chest Press is also available in a version fitted with an optional training monitor. This variant gives clear access to the key information about the current session and lets the user keep track of, among other things, workout progress and the number of repetitions completed.

The monitor offers two training modes: Quick Start and Exercises. Exercises mode lets users choose from the exercises available on the machine, and after answering a few questions about themselves, the system can suggest a suitable training load. The monitor then helps establish an individual range of motion based on the repetitions performed.

During the exercise, the user's movement is displayed and tracked on screen, while the system monitors whether the set range of motion is being achieved, counts the repetitions performed and shows movement accuracy as a percentage. A session summary is displayed once the exercise is complete.

The interface has been designed for simple, fast operation, so the monitor works just as well in commercial spaces, where one machine is used by a succession of different users, as it does in a private home gym. The monitors on every StudioLine machine share a consistent interface and way of working, creating a unified training environment across the whole fitness area.
